KBC-5 "Winner"

KBC :-Kaun Banega Crorepati ( popularly known asKBC) is an Indian game show based on the UK game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? which offers a maximum cash prize of £1 million. The show first aired in 2000 and was hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. This was the first appearance of Bachchan on Indian television.




KBC 5

The format of KBC 5 is same as KBC 4. The only difference is that the contestant will have to choose only one level at any value. The timer runs for 45 seconds until that value. Also the missed answer value will be the value of the level chosen by the contestant if the contestant crosses the level. Otherwise it is zero.
KBC Huge Amount Winners :
  • Harshvardhan Nawathe – 1st winner of KBC  INR 1 Crore in 2000.
  • Ravi Saini – Winner of the equally popular series KBC Junior INR 1 Crore that featured children under the age of 14 as contestants in 2001.
  • Vijay and Arundhati Raul – Winner of KBC Jodi INR 1 Crore in 2001.
  • Ajay Devgan and Kajol – Winner of INR 1 Crore in 2005.
  • Brajesh Dubey – Winner of KBC 2 leaving with INR 1 Crore when the top prize was INR 2 Crore.
  • Rahat Taslim – Winner of INR 1 crore in Season 4. She quit at the jackpot question (for INR 5 Crore).
  • Sushil Kumar – Winner of INR 5 Crore in Season 5. He is only winner who has won the full jackpot in KBC series. 
In the past, the first season of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' saw Harshvardhan Nawathe from Mumbai walking away with Rs.1 crore.
In 2004, Rahat Taslim from Jharkand won Rs.1 crore but quit before the jackpot question for Rs.5 crore.

Amitabh Bachchan is happy that Sushil Kumar of Bihar won the mega prize of Rs.5 crore on 'Kaun Banega Crorepati 5 (KBC)'. Big B says the victory proves the strength of the common man.
