Important-- Gate 2012

My dear Gate Aspirant :

It is stated in the respective gate zonal websites mentioned below , that few students who enrolled for GATE  2012 exam had done small mistakes in application form which are treated as  incomplete / defective applications received at respective zonal sites

  The preventive measure for the type of mistakes are stated in website  clearly under the tab Defective Apps.

check those and follow there instructions carefully

      Zone-3: Indian Institute of Technology Delhi
      Zone-4: Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati
      Zone-5: Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur
      Zone-6: Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur 
      Zone-7: Indian Institute of Technology Madras 
      Zone-8: Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee

please check your respective zone for your application and ensure it is not a defective one. main intention is that  in my survey there are more than 1200+ applicant who sent application to IIT Delhi are in Defect Apps state. and in IIT-Bombay about nearly and in IIT-Kanpur about 200.......................and more ................
please check and ensure your application is in completed full
