AP Transco invited applications through online aptransco website http://aptransco.cgg.gov.in from 22.12.2011 to 18.01.2012, 17.01.2012 is the last date for payment of fees, from Engineering Graduates for filling up the following vacancies on regular basis in APTRANSCO Engineering Service. All Candidates may apply online, Detailed notification with zone wise vacancies, Scale of Pay, Age, Community, Educational Qualifications and written test syllabus for the written examination may be viewed at AP Transco official website www.aptransco.gov.in.
Applicants can also pay the fee through APOnline portal. Application fee to applicant must pay Rs. 150/- Rupees towards Application Processing Fee to all category applicants. Applicants under General category must pay RS.350/- towards Examination Fee. Application fee receive at AP Online center only. Applicants belonging to SC, ST, BC Communities and PH candidates need not pay this fee 350 rupees. But all non local candidates other than Andhra Pradesh will be considered as general category. Eligibility Criterion

• The recruitment drive is for Graduates / Post Graduates passing in the year 2012.
• BE/B. Tech (CSE, IT, IS, CT, ECE, ETC, EEE and E&I) only - no other branches will be entertained
• MCA/M. Sc (SE,CS,IS,IT,CT) -  both 2 years and 5 yrs integrated program
• A minimum of 50% marks in 10th, 12th, Diploma, Graduation and Post Graduation (as the case may be). Student who has failed in +2 and later joined Diploma are not eligible
• Students should not have any current arrear at the time of registering for the process
• A maximum of 1 year break in education is allowed
• Only individuals of Indian origin / individuals having a valid Indian passport are eligible

The State Government’s goal is providing jobs for the unemployed youth under Rajiv Yuva Kiranalu scheme. AP State government aimed at providing 15 lakh employment opportunities for the youth by 2014-15. The government was keen on generating one lakh job opportunities by the year end. Workshops were being conducted at Vizag, Tirupati and Hyderabad. District level task forces were constituted to oversee the implementation of the scheme at various levels and review meetings would be held fortnightly. Those looking for jobs could register their names directly on the website ryk.cgg.gov.in, he informed. Training for youth in the trades that provide abundant employment opportunities for the youth in private sectors which were developed in districts. There was an estimated requirement of 80 lakh skilled workers by 2015 in the State. They were making use of the technical institutions such as polytechnics, engineering and vocational colleges for giving training.
RKY job mela on the Andhra University campus on October 29 and 30 under the Rajiv Yuva Kiranalu scheme of the A.P State Government 100 companies which required a total number of 10,000 personnel estimated to attending the job mela.
